Thyme honey is one of the main types of single flower honey, produced by bees from nectar and pollen of wild and common thyme flowers. Turkey is one of the main producers of this honey.

Wild thyme is a shrub that grows to a height of 20 to 150 centimeters, with branched roots, small leaves and an aromatic plant. The flowers range in color from red to white and lavender.

Characteristics:
Thyme honey has a light amber (yellowish-orange) hue and changes color to beige or brown upon crystallization, depending on the environment. It has a distinctive spicy aroma and a delicious taste that lingers in the mouth for a long time.
